Beautiful handmade sea-glass necklace and earring set carefully curated from my collection of white sea-glass. A beautiful eco-friendly alternative to pearls or diamonds to add a finishing touch to a special day.
White is one of the commonly found colours of sea-glass, but the pieces I use are all super old and worn smooth, with the classic frosted and pitted surface of age-old glass that has been tossed and tumbled in the waves for centuries. The perfect pieces I currently hold in my collection are mostly from the famous sea-glass beach in County Durham - often left behind by other sea-glass hunters who want bigger pieces and rarer colours. But I think there’s something quite simple and beautiful about the delicate silver wrap of wire around these smaller pieces.
Whilst I do make repeat versions of this style, bceause every piece of sea-glass has its own indivdual character and charateristics, every single piece is unique. So every pendant, every earring is different - and the ‘matching’ pairs and sets are comprised of indivdual pieces that are similar enough to go together - but they are never an exact match. Just like two leaves from the same plant will never be identical.
From time to time sets are available/can be curated in other colours, (see other listings or get in touch to enquire) each with their own unique qualites.
Details & Measurements:
All wire used for wrapping is recycled solid fine-silver. Chains provided are recycled 45cm solid sterling silver delicate trace or belcher (other styles and lengths are available by request). Earring hooks are solid sterling silver.
NB: All sea-glass measurements are approximate due to the irregular shapes of the individual nuggets.

These sets are made only when I have the right sea-glass in my collection. Some colours are more readily available than others. All jewellery is sent to you wrapped in recycled tissue paper and in a recycled kraft or black cardboard box tied with linen thread. A little note about the sea-glass is also included.
