Hand Crafted Small Fine Silver Hawthorn Leaf Necklace with Green Sea-glass Charm

£120.00

Made from a real Hawthorn leaf foraged from my local hedgrows on the path near my home in Hampshire, this dainty solid fine silver hawthorn leaf has been paired with a small sea-glass charm in a green reflecting the colour of the original leaf, to create this necklace - one of my signature and best selling combinations. The necklace is designed so the two elemets can be worn together, or separately (so you get three necklaces in one!).

Hawthorn is s staple of the British Hedgerows providing a spectacular blanket of white blossom in the spring and deep red berries on the autumn, this everyday plant supports a huge array of wildlife throughout the year, as well as poviding foraging opportunity for us too. This particular leaf was picked in the early spring.

All my leaves are carefully made using silver clay paste and a layered painting technique applied to the original leaf, which captures in detail the veining and shape of each individual leaf and gives them the delicate feel of a real leaf and the sea-glass I use is genuine sea-glass gathered by me (or friendsl and family!) from UK beaches, and is useed as found.

Measurements below are approximate and taken at the widest point.
